Ciga is an ancient Egyptian board game where one player attempts to capture the opponents pieces. The game has been played for centuries throughout Egypt and other parts of the Middle East. Ciga is a simple, easy to learn game in terms of materials and rules, but it involves plenty of strategy and thinking. The game is played on a 3x3, 5x5, or 7x7 board selected by the players in Settings. To start, players place two pieces on the board, one player on the Xs and other on the Os. Then, each player alternatively places the rest of their pieces on the board while leaving the center square empty. A player captures an opponents piece when he/she moves his/her piece and sandwiches the opponents piece. Instructions and tips on how to play are embedded in the game.
